We are so fortunate to live in a place where there are four seasons; each having it's own beauty and charm. Cape Breton Island has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world to embrace whatever is bestowed upon us by Mother Nature.

Summer is that long awaited friend from the past, bringing us blue skies, days spent on sandy beaches, welcoming warm breezes, and longer evenings; Summer at her best.

Autumn is probably my favorite of all. The mornings are crisp, the days are usually warm, and the nights cool. The colors are breath-taking.  L.M. Montgomery once said, " I am so glad I live in a world with Octobers" ; I agree. When you go for a drive in the late Fall, it seems every turn in the road is more beautiful than the last.

And in every season there is a beginning and end of every day marked by sunrises and sunsets. No two are ever alike; minute by minute the sky changes. When you can take a picture in the middle of being charmed by Mother Nature's artistry, you are rewarded with an image , frozen in time that can be relived, over and over.

Jo Walton said, “There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.”
