Another of Nature's beautiful creations.

Whether they are flowers, moss. lichens, trees, I can't help but marvel at the shades and colors.

When you look at a mountainside covered in trees, you might just see trees. I see a pallet of gorgeous, lush greens, earthy browns, yellows and reds that continually change shades with the movement of light.

All the flowers in my collection grow in the wild here in Cape Breton, many of which were introduced by early settlers. I was a botany enthusiast in my younger years and put the interest aside for far too long. The more I connect with nature, the more I find myself going to a reference source to research.
